Weretouched

Born to an individual touched with lycanthrope, the weretouched are not true lycanthropes but possess some of the strength and abilities inherent to actual werecreatures. They typically look like rugged humans with bestial features, such as pronounced canine teeth, sharp claws, and thick body hair.

Born Outcasts

Typically born to a human mother and lycanthrope father, many of the weretouched are believed to be cursed and subsequently abandoned and left to die. Occasionally a mother will shelter their child or leave home with their newborn to raise him in the wilds. Rarely are they allowed to be integrated into the community, as they are typically seen as an ill omen at best and a future threat at worst.

Expert Hunters

Having senses more akin to those of an animal, weretouched make expert hunters and trackers. They are excellent at finding wild game or outlaws alike, and the few weretouched that remain as part of a human community inevitably prove themselves a valuable resource.
