Plant life around you withers and dies. Each creature within 30 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw. A creature in the spell’s area takes 2d6 cold damage and 1d6 necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
If the creature is a plant creature or magical plant, it makes the saving throw with disadvantage.
Nonmagical plants in the spell’s area lose their leaves and wither, removing any cover or concealment that they might provide. Plants affected in this way recover naturally, reducing the area affected by 10 feet each day after the spell is cast.
At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the necrotic damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
